Joe Foltz's Genealogy Pages
About Joe

I was born September 14, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio. My parents were 40 years old,
my youngest sister, Patty, was 14, my brother, Tom, was 16 and my oldest sister, Joan,
was 19!

Needless to say, mine was not a "planned" birth. But, things worked out well in the end.

Joan was in Nursing School, so I started to travel at a very young age. At six months,
I was riding with mom to visit Joan in Salem, Ohio - I've had a love of travel ever since!

at UD, including "Friendly Floyds", an annual charity fund raiser; and headed the "Christmas

I served in the US Peace Corps in South Korea from 1979 to 1981, the most politically active
period in Korea's history. (You can read more about it here as I write it.)
